Went to the meeting with Mr. What's-His-Name today at BCCC. Finally got a very skeletal schedule for school, so I'll be taking two more courses this year than I expected. I really only need 1 1/2 more credits to graduate, but BCCC has to have it their way, so I need 3 courses to take the GED program. Instead of just taking English IV (yay! English Lit, which should be fun, as I'll be reading Shakespeare's sonnets, and Ms. Fonner already loves me b/c I've read so much Shakespeare on my free time) and Health, which will be a breeze (stupid course at City had an overload of busywork, which I didn't finish, and thus failed the class. Okay, so I didn't fail, but City has a below-70%-is-failing rule, and I had a 68%) To make up my 3 credits, I'm re-taking Consumer Math (fun class from 10th) and Structured Writing (which sounds good, writing isn't too bad). At least I know a bit more now than I did. I'll be glad when this semester is over and I receive my GED. Big party. Much food. Eric shall serenade us with his Evanescence concerts. And BMW marathons ;-)
Then walked over to the ship to get my paycheck (yay! money good) and get my backpack from yesterday. But someone didn't show up today...*glares*..and hasn't said goodbye yet either. Me sad. *sniff*
